Wi-Fi and home networking
Most home Wi-Fi problems are design problems, not equipment problems. We survey the house, put access points where they're actually needed, and wire them back to a switch instead of daisy-chaining mesh nodes.

The cheapest time to wire a house is before the drywall. We work from plans and coordinate around the other trades.

06 — Questions
Before you ask.
Do you charge for the site walk?
No. We look at the house, talk through what you want, and come back with a fixed quote. Small jobs can often be quoted from photos and a phone call.
Is there a monthly fee or contract?
No. You pay for the job, you own the equipment and the credentials, and nothing stops working if you never call us again.
Why Ubiquiti rather than the mesh kit from the electronics store?
Mesh kits repeat a signal that was already weak. Wired access points give each part of the house its own strong signal, and you can see what's happening on the network. When something simpler genuinely fits, we'll say so.
Can you fix what someone else installed?
Often, yes. Half-finished cable runs, Wi-Fi that never covered the far bedroom, a panel nobody labelled — those are normal starting points. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing or replacing.
Do you work in new construction?
Yes, and that's the best time to call. Pre-wiring from plans costs a fraction of retrofitting into finished walls.
